How to Add the Printify App to Shopify and Set Up the Printify Shipping Profile
If you’re looking to sell custom products through Printify on your Shopify store, you’ll need to add the Printify app and configure your shipping profiles. This guide will walk you through the process.
1. Adding the Printify App to Shopify
Steps:
Log in to your Shopify admin.
On the left-hand menu, click on Apps, then select Visit Shopify App Store.
In the Shopify App Store, search for Printify.
Once you find the Printify app, click Add app.
You will be redirected to the Shopify admin page. Click Install app to complete the installation.
After the app is installed, you’ll be prompted to either log in to your existing Printify account or create a new one.
You’re now ready to start creating products in Printify and syncing them to your Shopify store.
2. Setting Up the Printify Shipping Profile
To ensure that your customers are charged correctly for shipping, you need to set up Printify’s shipping rates in Shopify.
Steps:
Log in to your Printify account.
Navigate to your Printify Dashboard and click on Settings.
In the Settings menu, click on Shipping.
Scroll down and click on Enable Printify shipping to activate automatic shipping rates for your store.
Steps to set up Printify Shipping in Shopify:
Go back to your Shopify admin and click on Settings at the bottom left.
Select Shipping and delivery from the menu.
Under the Shipping section, find Custom shipping rates and click Manage rates.
In the “Manage rates” section, find the Printify shipping profile and adjust the rates as necessary.
You can set different rates for domestic and international shipping.
Make sure that the correct zones are assigned to Printify's shipping rates.
Click Save when you’re done.
Important Notes:
Printify shipping profiles automatically update based on the products you sync to Shopify. Always review your shipping settings when adding new products.
