👉 If you imported a product into DSers and noticed there are no “Ship From” variants showing up, don’t worry—this is totally normal for many suppliers.
When there’s no “Ship From” option listed, it usually just means that the product ships from the supplier’s default location (most often China). It doesn’t mean anything is wrong, and it doesn’t affect your ability to move forward. You’re absolutely okay to proceed!
Why do we recommend deleting "Ship From" variants from other countries?
The “Ship From” variant tells Shopify (and your customer) where the product will ship from. If a product offers multiple shipping origins (like China, the US, or South Korea), you might choose to keep only one, usually the US or China, so that:
✅ Customers don’t get confused seeing multiple shipping locations on your store
✅ You control where the product ships from, especially if you’re prioritizing faster US shipping
👉 But if there’s no “Ship From” variant listed at all, there’s nothing to delete! It’s simply that your product doesn’t offer multiple warehouse options, and that’s okay.
Does deleting “Ship From” variants change how the supplier ships?
No, it’s just about what options are visible on your website for your customers to choose from. It doesn’t actually change where the supplier ships from behind the scenes. Your supplier will still ship from their default warehouse (most often China) unless otherwise specified.
In short:
✅ If no “Ship From” variant appears in DSers, you’re fine to move forward—assume it ships from China.
✅ Deleting “Ship From” variants is about simplifying your store’s options for customers, not changing supplier behavior.
You’re doing great! Keep going!
