I understand this is important to you because we recommend the Facebook Catalog in the program so I wanted to talk about it here.
The Facebook Commerce Account (the catalog) is a feature where your potential customers can actually buy on the Facebook app.
This means if your catalog is approved, it is just an extra layer to potentially pull in more sales!
Facebook tends to not approve a lot of accounts and has a policy.
While they do have a policy, it's not super clear because I see the simplest products like an article of clothing get blocked all the time. You can request a review, but they may still deny it.
Here is the truth: you do not NEED the Facebook Commerce Account.
It is completely separate from posting advertisements. If you happen to get approved, that's awesome too!
I just want you to know if they don't approve your account, it is okay! You can keep going.
Don't let this stress you out to believe you can't advertise now. 💗
